Mr. Thomas is a partner of the law firm who joined as an associate attorney in 2003 after working more than twenty years for Harris Corporation in Melbourne, Florida as an engineer and manager. Prior to working for Harris, Mr. Thomas worked for several years with Control Laser Corporation in Orlando, Florida. Mr. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology. He graduated magna cum laude and valedictorian of his law school class at Barry University’s Dwayne A. Andreas School of Law. Mr. Thomas was a member of the Moot Court Board while in law school.
Mr. Thomas is a registered U.S. patent attorney and is a member of the Florida Bar Association and is admitted to practice before the Federal District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He is a member of the Brevard and Indian River County Bar Associations. Mr. Thomas is also a member of the Trial Lawyers and Business Law sections of the Florida Bar Association.
Mr. Thomas practices civil litigation and intellectual property law including patent and trademark application, copyright law, infringement litigation, business law, and other related matters.
